About Us
Located in the historic downtown Arts District of Winston Salem, PAZ offers a variety of classes within the studio and out in the community. Our intention as a yoga studio is to open up our space for those who want to find a sense of peace in their daily lives. Students may choose to take classes as a form of exercise, healing, and stress relief, or they may dive in to the study of yoga as a life transformative process. Our classes are asana (posture) based, but you can also experience pranayama (breath techniques), meditation, and the study of yogic philosophy in them. We have classes for all bodies at all experience levels,
safe and free of judgement for anyone that steps into the studio.

She is a Colorado native and loves the outdoors, and glamping when she’s not working. She is a mother of two-sons and two-French Bulldogs, Elláh and Enzö. Michele teaches exhale flow at PAZ Studios, where she focuses on alignment and ease in asana, making this class just the right balance of challenging and accessibility. In addition to teaching yoga, she is also a full time Design and Sales Consultant at Furnitureland South in High Point North Carolina where she has continued her flair for style and design for interior dream spaces.

Kate is an E-RYT500 teacher and has been teaching yoga in Winston Salem since 2014. She got her first certification during a 3-week intensive training in Nosara, Costa Rica, and in August 2016, she continued her teaching in Koh Samui, Thailand getting her RYT-500. Her style of teaching includes vinyasa, power vinyasa, yin/restorative, AcroYoga, and children's yoga. Her classes are always evolving, but deliver the message to her students that strength and flexibility must be built safely over time. No matter what style of yoga, you'll learn more about your body and how to keep it working properly for years to come. She is also a local elementary school teacher at the Downtown School across the street from PAZ!
